For awhile, I kept hearing people using frozen bananas as a substitute for “healthy” ice cream. I love bananas, but wasn’t sure how a frozen banana would turn out thawed. First of all, I waited for the banana to get really ripe before freezing. When thawed and peeled, the banana has a nice creamy, consistency such as -surprise- ice cream! To add a little more flavor, I added some almond butter and cinnamon on top. Legit treat! It definitely helps with the temptation to have a sweet treat!
