Fall and donuts!

I don’t know why Fall wants me to constantly shove food in my face.  🙂 It’s the combination of the cool weather and wearing warmer clothing that makes me crave foods that aren’t good for the waistline.  But who doesn’t like a hearty soup or a stick-to-your-ribs meal to help face the fierce elements outside?  AND it’s only October!  I can’t wait to see how I am when December rolls around.

The Kansas City marathon was Saturday morning, and some friends and I cheered for the runners for three hours.  It was great to see friends run by and people I didn’t know say “thank you,” or cheer with us.  The morning was very cold and it made me eat this donut (pictured below). 🙂 It was worth every bite since we had been outside for a long time, but we had such a good time!  This is our second year cheering and I hope this experience continues for 2015 and beyond.

I haven’t had Dunkin Donuts in a long time. AND I’m not a sprinkles-kind-of-girl. But this donut though…

Taco Bell Breakfast.

Ok!  I forgot about this one.  When Taco Bell first came out with their new breakfast line, I knew that I would have to try it at least once.  By the time I got there, they were getting ready for lunch, but were able to make me one of the waffle tacos.  I asked for bacon.

The waffle was sweet, the eggs were processed, the bacon crisp, cheese for days, and they give you two syrups to dip the taco in.  I avoided the syrup, and rather enjoyed the taco itself.  I won’t eat it again, but glad to have experienced it!  🙂
